Founded in 1992 and based in Taipei, Daily Air Corp. (DAC) inaugurated helicopter service with one BK-117 in General Aviation (Utility) category. |
 |
With CAA easing restrictions in helicopter operation, DAC fleet expanded to nine in 1999, with four BK-117’s, two B-430’s, and three B-412’s to include service in Air Transport (Passenger, Cargo, and Mail) category, whilst downsized to two BK-117’s due to government-fleet rapid expansion and also its “free-of-charge” policy for including services in civilian utility category. |

In June 2005, DAC successfully upgraded its capability by introducing four Dornier-228’s for Schedule Flight Service. |
